One of the most common questions we get is: “How do I charge my Jaunt vehicle at home?”
The good news is that it’s simple – and there are a few different ways to do it depending on your setup. Every Jaunt vehicle includes an onboard 6.6kW AC charger, meaning you only need single-phase power to get a full charge overnight.
For the fastest, most convenient home charging experience, we recommend installing a dedicated 7kW AC wall charger in your garage or carport. This will give you a full charge overnight with minimal fuss.
We recommend myenergi zappi – a smart, solar-aware charger that works anywhere in Australia. They can provide installation or work with your existing electrician.
If you already have a preferred electrician, you're welcome to use whatever 7kW charger they're familiar with – our cars are compatible with all standard Type 2 EVSE units.
⚙️ Technical Note
All Jaunt vehicles use an onboard 6.6kW single-phase charger. There's no benefit to installing a 3-phase system – just a standard 7kW AC (32A, single-phase) charger is ideal.
